I think that being able to use excel to build strategies, analyze trades and execute positions is a great way of trading without having to use MQL4 and use shady EAs. What do you think?

absolutely my dear friend
meta trader has made it simple and easy to formulate strategies through charts and graphs with the use of excels, that also without any knowledge of mql4 type languages.

with regards

I see. Have you tried the demo account? If you are a beginner, you can open a demo account with no minimum opening balance and a 10 days trial bonus for the MexcelTrader 4 at http://www.fxdialogue.com/Demo-Forex-Account.aspx .

@Rick
I've been into forex trading for a while. One service that I signed up for is fxdialogue.com They actually offer exactly what you are looking for. Excel Plugin for MetaTrader is free with live accounts. It works out well for someone like you who is just starting out. You should take advantage of this.

Thank you so much Alley! I have heard of fxdialogue, but have not signed up yet. I think I will give it a try. There are so many services out there. It is just hard to choose or to know where to look for quality forex trading services and software. Thanks again.

Hey!
Has anyone here worked with both MQL and MT4 for a prolonged time? I want him to give us some detailed differences between both. I haven't worked long with MQL(Because my scripting skills are not enough) but it would make a nice experience to share.:rolleyes:
